If you were to book a flight I’d recommend reading about the country you plan to fly to current situation and of course Ireland’s (i.e whether you’ll have to quarantine or PCR test etc.), using a credit card as you have greater protection, reading the cancellation conditions and in most cases booking directly with the airline.

New York City comprises 5 boroughs sitting where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean, with Manhattan being the most famous borough. There is an endless list of things to see and do in Manhattan alone such as Times Square, Central Park, Empire State Building and Rockefeller Centre to name a select few. I would also recommend going to Brooklyn and seeing the iconic Brooklyn Bridge or take the ferry to Staten Island and get up close to the Statue of Liberty.

The hotel is the 4* Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Ave – Chelsea, an IHG Hotel, which is rated a decent 7.1 out of 10. This property is a 10 minute walk from the Empire State Building and is 3 blocks from the 28th Street Subway Station. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, a 24 hour gym and an onsite cafe.
A double room with Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Ave – Chelsea, an IHG Hotel is available for €242 per person for a 4 night stay. This brings the total cost from Dublin to €506 per person and the total cost from Shannon is €503 per person.
