Today’s deal of the day is a bargain trip from Dublin to Chania in Crete with flights and 5 nights accommodation for €168 pp!

Chania is a city on the northwest coast of the Greek island of Crete. It’s known for its 14th-century Venetian Harbour, narrow streets, waterfront restaurants and beautiful beaches. Crete averages temperatures in the late teens in March-April.

The flights are with Ryanair leaving Dublin on Sunday the 29th of March and returning on Friday the 3rd of April. There is a link below to the flights, click on this to be brought to the Skyscanner website. Please note as Ryanair have changed their baggage policy, I have added priority and 2 cabin bags to the overall price which brings the price of flights to €88.

Dublin to Chania, Crete 29th Mar – 3rd Apr €88 including priority with 2 cabin bags

The accommodation is with Irene Maisonettes, which are budget apartments rated an exceptional 9.7 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. These apartments are located 200 metres from the central market and Venetian Harbour of Chania and is 600 metres from the sandy beach of Nea Chora. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi and everything you need for a short or long term stay. I’d recommend asking for an apartment on the courtyard side as there is less noise.

An apartment with Irene Maisonettes is available for just €80 per person for a 5 night stay, which brings the total cost for flights and 5 nights accommodation to €168 per person based on 2 people sharing.
