This deal is for a weekend trip in February to Salzburg, Austria with flights from Dublin and 1 night in a 4* hotel for €110 pp!
Salzburg is an Austrian city on the border of Germany, with views of the Eastern Alps. The city is divided by the Salzach River, with medieval and baroque buildings of the pedestrian Altstadt (Old City) on its left bank, facing the 19th-century Neustadt (New City) on its right. It is also the birthplace of Mozart and is famed for its music.

The flights from Dublin are with Ryanair, leaving on Saturday the 28th of February and leaving on Sunday the 1st of March. As it’s only for one night, I haven’t added priority with an extra cabin bag and this will cost extra. I’d recommend this bag from Decathlon for €8, which goes under your seat and fits loads in and is the exact dimensions for a Ryanair/EasyJet small cabin bag Decathlon Kipsta 20l bag. The hotel is the 4* Mercure Salzburg City, which is rated 8 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is a 20 minute walk from Mozart’s Birthplace and the Old City Hall. The hotel has a bar/restaurant on site. The rooms are modern with air-conditioning, a mini-bar and a tea/coffee maker.
A twin room at Mercure Salzburg City is available for €43 per person for a 1 night stay. This brings the total cost from Dublin to €110 per person, which is based on 2 people sharing.
