While there is no June Bank Holiday in the North, this is a great example of when bank holidays or certain holidays don’t line up between the North and the Republic. This deal is for a trip over the June Bank Holiday to Krakow, Poland with flights from Belfast and 2 nights accommodation for £123/€146 pp!
Krakow, a southern Poland city near the border of the Czech Republic, is known for its well-preserved medieval core and Jewish quarter. Its old town – ringed by Planty Park and remnants of the city’s medieval walls – is centered on the stately, expansive Rynek Glówny (market square). Auschwitz and the Wieliczka Salt Mine are possible day trips from Krakow.
Price breakdown with links:
Return Ryanair flights from Belfast to Krakow 1st June – 3rd June £69/€83 per person
Aparthotel Inspire Miodova Residence 1st June – 3rd June €63 per person for a 2 night stay
Total: £123/€146 per person based on 2 people sharing
The flights from Dublin are with Ryanair, leaving on Sunday the 1st of June and leaving on Tuesday the 3rd of June. As it’s only for two nights, I haven’t added priority with an extra cabin bag and this will cost extra. I’d recommend this bag from Decathlon for €8, which goes under your seat and fits loads in and is the exact dimensions for a Ryanair/EasyJet small cabin bag Decathlon Kipsta 20l bag.
