Dubrovnik is a city in southern Croatia fronting the Adriatic Sea. It’s known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. Its well-preserved buildings range from baroque St. Blaise Church to Renaissance Sponza Palace and Gothic Rector’s Palace, now a history museum. Paved with limestone, the pedestrianized Stradun (or Placa) is lined with shops and restaurants.

The flights from Dublin are with Ryanair, leaving on Saturday the 20th of April and leaving on Monday the 22nd of April. As it’s only for one night, I haven’t added priority with an extra cabin bag and this will cost extra. I’d recommend this bag from Decathlon for €8, which goes under your seat and fits loads in and is the exact dimensions for a Ryanair/Easyjet small cabin bag Decathlon Kipsta 20l bag. The hotel is the 4* Hotel Lero, which is rated 8.9 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is a 25 minute walk from the Old Town of Dubrovnik or if you don’t fancy the walk you can get the number 4 bus from opposite the hotel to the Old Town. The hotel has 2 restaurants and a bar on site. The hotel does have a pool, unfortunately it will be closed at this time. The rooms are modern with air-conditioning, tea/coffee maker and free Wi-Fi.
A double or twin room at Hotel Lero is available for €116 per person for a 2 night stay including breakfast. This brings the total cost from Dublin to €204 per person, which is based on 2 people sharing.
