Wroclaw is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Poland. It’s known for its Market Square, lined with elegant townhouses and featuring a modern fountain. Also on the square is the Gothic Old Town Hall, with its large astronomical clock. Wroclaw was awarded European City Capital of Culture in 2016.

The flights from Dublin are with Ryanair, leaving on Saturday the 24th of February and returning on Monday the 26th of February. As it’s only for two nights, I haven’t added priority with an extra cabin bag and this will cost extra. The hotel is a 4* Scandic Wroclaw, which is rated 8.6 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This hotel is located 300 metres from the main train station in Wroclaw and is 1 km from the Main Market Square. The rooms are bright and modern. The hotel has a bar/restaurant, sauna and fitness centre on site.
A double or twin room at Scandic Wroclaw is available from €65 per person for a 2 night stay. This brings the total cost from Dublin to €123 per person and the total cost from Shannon to €102 per person. Both options are based on 2 people sharing.
