Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. From imposing São Jorge Castle, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel-colored buildings, Tagus Estuary and Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. Just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.

The flights from Dublin are with Aer Lingus and are leaving on Saturday the 23rd of March and returning on Tuesday the 26th of March. Aer Lingus have changed their cabin luggage policy on the lowest fares, you can choose to check in a 10kg bag free of charge or pay a fee to carry it on board. The hotel is the 4* Hotel 3K Madrid, which is rated 7.4 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This hotel is 700 metres Edward VII park with access to tons of public transportation including Blue and Yellow Metro lines. It is also just over a 10 minute walk from Avenida da Liberdade, which is one of Lisbon’s main shopping streets. The hotel has a bar on site and a pool but sadly this will be closed at this time. The rooms have air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
