This deal is for a weekend trip to Amsterdam and the Haarlem Christmas Market with Aer Lingus flights from Dublin and Cork to Amsterdam and 2 nights in a 4* hotel in Amsterdam from €219 pp!

On the 8th to the 10th of December, downtown Haarlem will once again be transformed into one of the largest and most cozy Christmas markets in the Netherlands. There are over 350 market stalls with lots of food and drink options! Haarlem is a 13 minute train ride from Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, which is where I recommend to stay.

Please note: there are a number of flight choices for outbound and return, I have chosen the cheapest ones but for a bit more you could extend your time.

Aer Lingus have changed their cabin luggage policy on the lowest fares, you can choose to check in a 10kg bag free of charge or pay a fee to carry it on board. The hotel is the 4* Mercure Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station, which is rated a very good 8.3 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is located next to Sloterdijk Station, which is a transport hub that can bring you to Amsterdam Central Station in 7 minutes and Haarlem is a 13 minute train ride away. The rooms are modern in design, have free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel also has a fitness centre.

A double or twin room at Mercure Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station is available for €150 per person, which is based on 2 people sharing. This brings the total cost from Dublin to €219 per person and the total cost from Cork to €231 per person. Both options are based on 2 people sharing.
