Blanes is a town and municipality in the comarca of Selva in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. During Roman rule it was named Blanda or Blandae. It is known as the “Gateway to the Costa Brava”. Its coast is part of the Costa Brava, which stretches from Blanes to the French border.

Blanes is also on the R1 trainline to Barcelona, which takes roughly 1 hour and 20 minutes to Plaça de Catalunya in Barcelona. The hotel has a modern spa, outdoor pool and bar on site. There is also a snack bar, and several bars, restaurants and shops are within 5 minutes’ walk. The rooms are air-conditioned, have free Wi-Fi and a minibar.
