Kos, one of Greece’s Dodecanese islands, is known for its abundant sandy beaches. It’s also rich with Greek and Roman landmarks, particularly in and around Kos Town. Kos is also known as the “Cycling island”, as bicycling is a very popular means of transportation there.

The flights from Dublin are with Aer Lingus and are leaving on Saturday the 29th of July and returning on Saturday the 5th of August. I have selected the economy saver option on Aer Lingus which gives you a 10 kg checked bag and a small underseat bag, which brings the overall price for flights to €263 per person.
The accommodation is with Byron Apartments, which are rated 8.8 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This accommodation is in Tigaki and is right in front of a private beach. The property is 2 km from the centre of Tigaki and if you don’t fancy the walk there is a bus stop to both Tigaki and Kos close to the apartments. There is a swimming pool, aswell as free sun beds for the beach. Each air-conditioned studio includes a kitchenette, balcony and TV.
