Hello bucketlist! This deal is for a trip over the Easter Holidays with flights from Dublin to Istanbul and Cappadocia and 7 nights accommodation with breakfast for €795 pp!
Istanbul is a major city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. It’s Old City reflects the cultural influences of the many empires that once ruled there. Cappadocia is world renowned for its cave accommodation and hot air balloon rides! Lonely Planet describes Cappadocia as “like landing on a different planet”.
The itinerary is as follows:
4th April – Flight from Dublin to Istanbul and 4 nights in a 4* hotel with breakfast
8th April – Flight from Istanbul to Nevsehir (closest airport to Cappadocia) and 3 nights accommodation with breakfast
11th April – Flight from Nevsehir to Dublin via Istanbul

The flights are with Turkish Airlines and are direct from Dublin to Istanbul on Tuesday the 4th of April, Istanbul to Nevsehir on Saturday the 8th of April then returning from Nevsehir back to Dublin, via Istanbul, on Tuesday the 11th of April. I have added the “extra fly” option on each flight which gives a checked bag of 23 kg, a meal and seat selection. The hotel in Istanbul is the 4* Four Seven Hotel, which is rated 8 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is located in Fatih, which is one of the oldest districts of Istanbul and located in the European side. This property is less than 400 metres from 4 different train and subway stations. The hotel was built in 2019 and has a restaurant on site. The rooms are soundproofed with air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
A double room with Four Seven Hotel is available for €145 per person for a 4 night stay including breakfast.

The hotel in Goreme is the Adelya Cave Hotel, which is rated 9.2 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is located in Goreme, with plenty of cafes and restaurants around. Sunset view point is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and bike rental is available at the hotel. The hotel can organise various activities including a hot air baloon ride.
Please note Nevsheir Airport is the closest airport to Goreme, which is 40 km from the hotel. The hotel can organise an airport shuttle at a fee.
