Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is well known for its colourful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock. The Charles Bridge, built in the 14th Century, is also a major place of interest. It is a pedestrian bridge lined with statues of Catholic saints. A ‘winter wonderland’ awaits, for visitors to soak up the festive atmosphere, browse the stalls, and enjoy Christmas carols, hearty food and local drinks. The flights from Dublin are with Ryanair, leaving on Tuesday the 13th of December and returning on Thursday the 15th of December. The 4* option is the Hotel Adler Prague, which is rated an excellent 8.6 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is a 5 minute walk from Wenceslas Square (where one of the markets is due to take place) and is in a very quiet place on the edge of the Old Town. The rooms have heating, a mini bar and free Wi-Fi.
A double or twin room at Hotel Adler Prague is available for €57 per person for a 2 night stay. This brings the total cost for flights and 2 nights in a 4* hotel to €152 per person based on 2 people sharing. For a small bit more money you can upgrade your room.

4* Option – Hotel Adler Prague 13th Dec – 15th Dec €57 per person for a 2 night stay
The 5* option is the Le Palais Art Hotel Prague, which is rated 8.5 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property was built as a residential palace in 1897 and is one of the finest examples of Belle Époque architecture in the city. The hotel is located in an exclusive residential area Vinohrady, within a 15 minute walk of Wenceslas Square (where one of the Christmas Markets is due to be held). The hotel has a fitness centre, a spa and bar/restaurant on site. The rooms have air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.
