If you were to book a flight I’d recommend reading about the country you plan to fly to current situation and of course Ireland’s (i.e whether you’ll have to quarantine or PCR test etc.), using a credit card as you have greater protection, reading the cancellation conditions and in most cases booking directly with the airline.
This deal is for flights from Ireland West (Knock) Airport to Milan Bergamo for €30 return! I was in Milan and Bergamo for the first time last weekend and had a great time. Although some people would just spend their entire trip in Milan, I’d recommend, after you check out of your accommodation, hopping on a train and spending the last day in Bergamo (depending on your flight time of course), visiting the Old Town which you can reach by the funicular. If you are coming from Milan and want to do this, there is a left luggage service once you come out of Bergamo train station and its on the left hand side, near the end of the building. You could also hop on a train and head to any part of Northern Italy!
