MarkJust a note before the deal, booking any flight given the current situation is at your own risk. We don’t know what way the world will be in by the end of the year but with the rollout of vaccines it looks a bit more promising compared to travelling last year. I’m sure most people won’t be booking these deals but its great to be thinking about travel again and get ideas etc. If you were to book a flight I’d recommend reading about the country you plan to fly to current situation and of course Ireland’s (i.e whether you’ll have to quarantine or PCR test), using a credit card as you have greater protection, reading the cancellation conditions and in most cases booking directly with the airline.
This deal is for a trip to Lisbon over Valentine’s Day with flights from Dublin to Lisbon and 3 nights in a 4* hotel with breakfast for €174 pp!
Lisbon is Portugal’s hilly, coastal capital city. From imposing São Jorge Castle, the view encompasses the old city’s pastel-colored buildings, Tagus Estuary and Ponte 25 de Abril suspension bridge. Nearby, the National Azulejo Museum displays 5 centuries of decorative ceramic tiles. Just outside Lisbon is a string of Atlantic beaches, from Cascais to Estoril.
The flights are with a mixture of TAP Air Portugal and Ryanair, so two seperate bookings will have to be made. TAP Air Portugal include hand Baggage – up to 8kg and a Personal Item – up to 2kg included in the cost of the ticket. Ryanair have changed their baggage policy, so I have added priority and 2 cabin bags to the overall price which brings the total cost for all flights to €61 pp.

The hotel is the 4* HF Fenix Urban, which is rated an excellent 8.8 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. Lisbon’s famous Parque Eduardo VII is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel and a Yellow hop on hop off bus stops near to the property too. The rooms are modern with a minibar, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.
A double or twin room at HF Fenix Urban is available for €113 per person for a 3 night stay including breakfast. This brings the total cost of the trip to €174 per person for flights and 3 nights in a 4* hotel with breakfast.
