Today’s deal of the day is flights from Dublin to Marrakesh, Morocco and 4 nights accommodation for €158 pp!
I would highly recommend Marrakesh, I went last December and wrote a piece about it which is in the link below.
Marrakesh or Marrakech (both spellings are commonly used) is a former imperial city in western Morocco, is a major economic centre and home to mosques, palaces and gardens. Night markets, camel rides and the Atlas Mountains are among the reasons to travel to Marrakesh. Marrakesh represents great value for money and the standard of accommodation is fantastic! I recommend staying in a riad, which is a traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden or courtyard.
The flights are with Ryanair leaving Dublin on Sunday the 17th of May and returning on Thursday the 21st of May. There is a link below to the flights, click on this to be brought to the Ryanair website. Please note as Ryanair have changed their baggage policy, I have added priority and 2 cabin bags to the overall price which brings the price of flights to €99.
Whether or not you decide to go with the property that I have linked down below, I would highly recommend organising a transfer through the property you are staying at as the Medina is a labyrinth and the vast majority of riads and hotels are not well signposted.
The accommodation is with Riad Naya, which is rated a superb 9.2 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is located in the Medina of Marrakesh and is a 10 minute walk to Koutoubia Mosque and 900 metres from Jamaa El Fna Square. The rooms are colourful with Moroccan styled decor and have air conditioning. This traditional Moroccan riad offers a rooftop terrace and a furnished patio.
A room at Riad Naya is available for just €59 per person for a 4 night stay. This brings the total cost for flights and 4 nights accommodation to €158 per person based on 2 people sharing.
