Dar Es Salaam is a major city and is a commercial port on Tanzania’s Indian Ocean coast. It grew from a small fishing village to the capital of Tanzania. Tanzania is one of the most popular places in Africa with Kilimanjaro, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater being major places of interest. Dar Es Salaam is also located quite close to popular Indian Ocean paradise, Zanzibar. Zanzibar is a very short flight from Dar Es Salaam.
