There has been a few requests for an October Bank Holiday deal and here it is! Flights from Dublin to Cologne, Germany and 3 nights in a 4* hotel for €197 pp!
Cologne is a 2000 year old city spanning the Rhine River and is considered Western Germany’s cultural hub. Cologne is famous for its stunning Cathedral, River Cruises and is emerging as a Stag and Hen destination due to its affordable nightlife.
The flights leaving Dublin are with Eurowings/Ryanair on Friday the 25th of October and returning on Monday the 28th of October. There is a link below to the flights, click on this to be brought to the Skyscanner website. Please note as Ryanair have changed their baggage policy, I have added priority and 2 cabin bags to the overall price which brings the price of flights to €67. Eurowings allow cabin luggage as standard on their flights.
The hotel is the 4* Wyndham Koln, which is rated a very good 8 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. I stayed at this hotel in January of this year and the location is fantastic. Once you come out of the Central Station it is right in front of you! Cologne Cathedral is 300 metres from the hotel. The rooms have air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee facilities.
A room at Wyndham Koln is available for €130 per person for a 3 night stay based on 2 people sharing. This brings the total cost for flights and accommodation to €197 pp!
