Today’s deal of the day is flights from Dublin to Marrakesh, Morocco and 4 nights accommodation with breakfast for €156 pp! If you’re looking for a December getaway I would highly recommend Marrakesh, I went last December and wrote a piece about it which is in the link below.
Marrakesh or Marrakech (both spellings are commonly used) is a former imperial city in western Morocco, is a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces and gardens. Night markets, camel rides and the Atlas Mountains are among the reasons to travel to Marrakesh. Marrakesh represents great value for money and the standard of accommodation is fantastic! I recommend staying in a riad, which is a traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden or courtyard.
The flights are with Ryanair leaving Dublin on Sunday the 8th of December and returning on Thursday the 12th of December. There is a link below to the flights, click on this to be brought to the Skyscanner website. Please note as Ryanair have changed their baggage policy, I have added priority and 2 cabin bags to the overall price which brings the price of flights to €84 pp.
The accommodation is with Riad Dar Aby, which is rated a superb 9 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This Riad is located a 5 minute walk from Jemaa El Fna Square and is a 15 minute walk from Bahia Palace. This property has an open terrace with sunbeds and each room has air conditioning. As this Riad is located in the Medina, I would highly recommend organising a transfer with the Riad once you have booked.
A double room at Riad Dar Aby is available for €72 per person for a 4 night stay based on 2 people sharing. Be quick though there is only one room left at this price! This brings the total cost for flights and 4 nights accommodation with breakfast to €156 per person!
