Just a note before the deal, booking any flight given the current situation is at your own risk. If you were to book a flight I’d recommend reading about the country you plan to fly to current situation and of course Ireland’s (i.e whether you’ll have to quarantine or PCR test etc.), using a credit card as you have greater protection, reading the cancellation conditions and in most cases booking directly with the airline.
Bit last minute but Ryanair have cheap flights for a few dates in the month of March from Shannon to Budapest for €30 return!
Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. There is plenty of things to see and do in Budapest including visiting the hot spring pools at Szechenyi Baths, a cruise on the River Danube, and incredible buildings like St. Stephen’s Basilica, Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church.
The flights are with Ryanair leaving Shannon and are direct to Budapest. Ryanair changed their baggage policy and now only allow you a bag under your seat for the cheapest fare. You can add on an additional cabin bag or a checked bag through the links below. There is a list of sample dates below, click on these to be brought to the Ryanair website.
