This deal is for a trip to the Budapest Christmas Markets with flights from Dublin and Shannon and 2 nights in a 5* hotel from €201 pp!
Budapest is renowned for hosting one of Europe’s best Christmas Markets. Budapest Christmas Fair and Winter Festival usually starts from the end of November to New Year’s Day. The two main markets in the city are at Vörösmarty Square and St. Stephen’s Basilica. If you get tired of the market, then there are also the hot spring pools at Szechenyi Baths or take a river cruise along the Danube. Budapest has been winner of the Best Christmas Market in Europe award of 2019, 2021 and 2023.

The flights from Dublin are with Ryanair, leaving on Wednesday the 10th of December and leaving on Friday the 12th of December. As it’s only for two nights, I haven’t added priority with an extra cabin bag and this will cost extra. The hotel is the 5* Pullman Budapest, which is rated 8.8 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is just over a 10 and 15 minute walk to St. Stephen’s Basilica and Vörösmarty Square Christmas Markets respectively. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar and a fitness centre. Each room is air-conditioned with soundproofed walls, a mini-bar, a tea and coffee maker.
A double room at Pullman Budapest is available for €151 per person for a 2 night stay. This brings the total cost from Dublin to €207 per person and the total cost from Shannon to €201 per person. Both options are based on 2 people sharing.
