The Christmas market in Essen has been voted the best Christmas market in Germany and the most sustainable in Europe! From the 15th of November to 23rd of December, Essen will be home to one of the largest and most beautiful markets in Germany. which will make your pre-Christmas season that much more beautiful and magical.
Please note: on Sunday the 16th November it is Remembrance Day so the market will be open later from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Dusseldorf Christmas Market is not open until the 20th of November just as an FYI.
