In the last few months there’s been a rise in the popularity of extreme day trips and I think this would fall under this category! This deal is for weekend day trip flights from Dublin to Salzburg, Austria from €77 return! A day trip its essentially the first flight out in the morning and the last flight home in the evening. Perfect for those with a limited budget and annual leave! I visited the Salzburg Christmas Market last year and it was stunning!
Salzburg is an Austrian city on the border of Germany, with views of the Eastern Alps. The city is divided by the Salzach River, with medieval and baroque buildings of the pedestrian Altstadt (Old City) on its left bank, facing the 19th-century Neustadt (New City) on its right. It is also the birthplace of Mozart and is famed for its music. Salzburg is known to host one of Austria’s best Christmas Markets with close to 100 exhibitors with food, drink and hand crafted gifts. Salzburg is the birthplace of the most famous Christmas carol of all time “Silent Night, Holy Night”.
The flights from Dublin are with Ryanair. As it’s only a day trip, I haven’t added priority with an extra cabin bag and this will cost extra. A small cabin bag that fits under the seat is included.
