This deal is for a weekend trip in September to Budapest, Hungary with flights from Shannon and 2 nights in a 4* hotel for €168 pp!
Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is bisected by the River Danube. Its 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with flat Pest. There is plenty of things to see and do in Budapest including visiting the hot spring pools at Szechenyi Baths, a cruise on the River Danube, and incredible buildings like St. Stephen’s Basilica, Fisherman’s Bastion and Matthias Church.

The flights from Shannon are with Ryanair, leaving on Friday the 20th of September and leaving on Sunday the 22nd of September. As it’s only for two nights, I haven’t added priority with an extra cabin bag and this will cost extra. I’d recommend this bag from Decathlon for €8, which goes under your seat and fits loads in and is the exact dimensions for a Ryanair/Easyjet small cabin bag Decathlon Kipsta 20l bag. The hotel is the 4* Mamaison Residence Izabella Budapest, which is rated 9 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is a 5 minute walk from the metro, making it a great base to explore all of Budapest’s attractions and is a mile from St. Stephen’s Basilica. The hotel has a fitness centre on site. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a kitchen, a dining area and a private bathroom.
A suite with Mamaison Residence Izabella Budapest is available for €106 per person for a 2 night stay. This brings the total cost from Shannon to €168 per person, which is based on 2 people sharing.
