Hong Kong is a melting pot of cultures as it has been colonised by the British and having been a major port for ships. Things to do in Hong Kong include Victoria Peak, Hong Kong skyline lights show, Tian Tan Buddha, Lantau Island, dinner cruises and a visit to the Vegas of the East, Macau!
Auckland, based around 2 large harbours, is a major city in the north of New Zealand’s North Island. In the centre, the iconic Sky Tower has stunning views of the city and Viaduct Harbour. Other places of interest in the North Island include the Bay of Islands, Hobbiton, Rotorua, Waitomo Caves and Wellington. You could also explore the South Island of New Zealand by getting a ferry or an internal flight.
The flights are with Qatar Airways via Doha to Hong Kong, then spend a few days in Hong Kong. Then there is a direct flight with Cathay Pacific to Auckland and finally on the return one-stop via Doha back to Dublin. A checked bag of 23kg is included in the cost of the ticket.
