Istanbul is a major city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. It’s Old City reflects the cultural influences of the many empires that once ruled there. Places of interest include the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, the Blue Mosque, Topkapı Palace and the Grand Bazaar.
