This deal is for a weekend trip in August to Bordeaux, France with flights from Dublin and Cork and 4 nights in a 3* hotel from €289 pp!

Bordeaux, hub of the famed wine growing region, is a port city on the Garonne River in southwestern France. It’s known for its Gothic Cathédrale Saint-André, 18th- to 19th-century mansions and notable art museums. Bordeaux is famous for its food and of course its wine! Possible day trips include Arcachon, which is along the coast and has lovely beaches and Saint-Émilion, with it’s picturesque vineyards.

The flights from Dublin are with Aer Lingus, leaving on Friday the 16th of August and returning on Tuesday the 20th of August.. Aer Lingus have changed their cabin luggage policy on the lowest fares, you can choose to check in a 10kg bag free of charge or pay a fee to carry it on board. There is a tram line close by to the hotel offering easy access to other parts of the city, with bars/restaurants a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Decorated in a modern style, the rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, ironing facilities and private bathrooms.
