Poland is well known for its amazing Christmas markets and Gdansk features one of Poland’s best! The Christmas Market in Gdansk takes place at Targ Węglowy (the Coal Market) but also in Tkacka and Bogusławskiego Streets. The Fair will be expanded to include a brand new location, the Forum Gdańsk Courtyard. The hotel is the 4* Mercure Gdańsk Stare Miasto, which is rated 8.6 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. This property is just over a 10 minute walk from Targ Węglowy (the Coal Market), where one of the markets will take place and is also less than a 5 minute walk from Madison Shopping Gallery, where there are over 100 shops. The hotel has a bar/restaurant and fitness centre on site. The rooms are classic in design with has air-conditioning, a mini-bar, a safe, as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
A double or twin room at Mercure Gdańsk Stare Miasto is available for €63 per person for a 2 night stay. This brings the total cost from Dublin to €172 per person and the total from Cork to €165 per person. Both options are based on 2 people sharing.
