Milan, a metropolis in Italy’s northern Lombardy region, is a global capital of fashion and design. Milan has many high end shops and restaurants as well as being a financial hub. It is also known as a hub for art and culture with the Gothic Duomo di Milano cathedral and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, which houses Leonardo da Vinci’s mural “The Last Supper”.
