If you were to book a flight I’d recommend reading about the country you plan to fly to current situation and of course Ireland’s (i.e whether you’ll have to quarantine or PCR test etc.), using a credit card as you have greater protection, reading the cancellation conditions and in most cases booking directly with the airline.
Brussels, the capital of Belgium, is considered one of Europe’s best Christmas Market Destinations. Pre Covid, the Winter Wonders event took place at the Grand-Place in Brussels and around the Bourse, the Place de la Monnaie, the Place Sainte-Catherine and the Marché aux Poissons. In previous years, the Winter Wonders event included a Christmas Market with over 200 chalets, fairground attractions and an ice rink! You could even take a day trip to Bruges and see another Christmas Market!
While no exact dates has been given for the Christmas Markets, I have selected a date 2 weeks before Christmas so if Covid restrictions stay as they are then it should go ahead!
