If you were to book a flight I’d recommend reading about the country you plan to fly to current situation and of course Ireland’s (i.e whether you’ll have to quarantine or PCR test etc.), using a credit card as you have greater protection, reading the cancellation conditions and in most cases booking directly with the airline.
Early bird catches the worm with a trip to Prague Christmas Markets with flights from Dublin and 2 nights in a 4* hotel with breakfast for €148 per person! There aren’t exact dates for the Christmas Markets in Prague however I chose flights the week before Christmas so if Covid restrictions stay as they are then it should go ahead! Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is well known for its colourful baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval Astronomical Clock. The Charles Bridge, built in the 14th Century, is also a major place of interest. It is a pedestrian bridge lined with statues of Catholic saints.

The flights from Dublin are with Ryanair, leaving on Friday the 16th of December and returning on Sunday the 18th of December. This property is a 10minute walk away from Wenceslas Square, which has previously held a Christmas Market. The Old Town is a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms are spacious with air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and tea/coffee making facilities.
A double or twin room at Hotel Praga 1 is available for €63 per person for a 2 night stay including breakfast. This brings the total cost for flights from Dublin and 2 nights in a 4* hotel with breakfast for €148 per person based on 2 people sharing.
