MarkIf you’ve ever looked up renting a Campervan/RV, you’ll know they are expensive. There is a way you can get one for absolute peanuts though and that’s by doing a relocation. A relocation is when a rental company needs to move a vehicle from one office to another. The rental company would usually have to pay a driver and cover their flight back, or get a transport company to move them. For a relocation deal, the rental company will hire the campervan to you for a nominal fee and you can drive it to their other office. It’s a win/win really, the rental company wants to cut costs while you get a campervan to rent for next to nothing!
You’ll have a set number of days to complete the journey and there may or may not be a certain amount of fuel included for the relocation. Some companies allow extra days at an additional cost.
It’s worth noting that its not just campervans but there is also sometimes relocation deals on cars.
