Trip Report: Marrakesh, Morocco
Marrakesh or Marrakech (both spellings are commonly used) is a former imperial city in western Morocco, is a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces and gardens. Night markets, camel rides and the Atlas Mountains are among the reasons to travel to Marrakesh. Marrakesh represents great value for money and the standard of accommodation is fantastic! I recommend staying in a riad, which is a traditional Moroccan house with an interior garden or courtyard.

The accommodation is with Riad Dar Yammi, which is rated a superb 9.4 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. The property is only a 5 minutes walk from the famous Jemaa El Fna Square. This Riad has an open air sitting room, rooftop terrace and the rooms are clean and comfortable.
A double room at Riad Dar Yammi is available for €88 per person for a 4 night stay with breakfast. Be quick though, there is only one room left at this rate! This brings the total cost for flights and 4 nights accommodation with breakfast to £128/€147 pp!
