Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, sits off the mainland on an island in the Persian (Arabian) Gulf. There is plenty to see in Abu Dhabi including the Grand Mosque, Ferrari World and Yas Island. Abu Dhabi is less than 2 hours from Dubai.
The flights are one stop via London Heathrow with British Airways and include a checked bag of 23kg. There are tonnes of dates for these deals in November and early December. In some cases from Dublin, the direct Etihad flights are available for €379 return which is worth considering.
