Today’s deal of the day is a weekend trip from Dublin to Cologne, Germany and 2 nights in a 4* hotel for €166 per person!
Cologne is a 2000 year old city spanning the Rhine River and is considered Western Germany’s cultural hub. Cologne is famous for its stunning Cathedral, River Cruises and is emerging as a Stag and Hen destination due to its affordable nightlife.
The flights are leaving Dublin on Friday the 10th of May and returning on Sunday the 12th of May. Click on the screenshot to be brought to the Skyscanner website.
Please note due to Ryanair’s cabin baggage policy being changed, I have included the price of priority and 2 cabin bags in the overall price, but this is not reflected in the screenshot below, which adds on €20 to make the flight €76 per person. Depending on how light you travel, you could easily do without the bigger cabin bag and shave €20 off the overall price.
The hotel is the 4* NH Koln Alstadt, which is rated a very good 8.1 out of 10 with guests from Booking.com. The Chocolate Museum is across the road from the hotel and the Old Town is less than a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are modern and have free wifi. This property also has a gym, sauna and steam room.
NH Koln Alstadt is available for €90 per person for a 2 night stay, bringing the total cost of the trip to €166 pp or €146 pp if you don’t need the bigger cabin bag.
